Buses In Liverpool 21st April 2012, (Puppets In Liverpool)

On the 21st of april 2012, the giant puppets walked the streets of liverpool, they were to mark the 100 years of the titanic sinking. After going to the pier head to see the Dog and the Woman, I then went to Various locations in Liverpool to spot the odd changes to bus stops.

Here is the Woman puppet, you can see the size of it compared to the people...

And Here is the Dog...

Back onto the Buses......

This was the scene on Islington, buses as far as the eye could see, this was because lime street was closed which meant that buses had to que up on Islington, before going onto Norton Street, to get back onto London Road, this affected routes to St Helens, Huyton, Croxteth, Kirby And Frazakerley. well any routes that use Lime Street, and London Road.
Here is another view of the buses queing up on Islington..

This is the Scene at Hawke Street, at the back of Lime Street Station.

Here, you can see buses coming off Hawke Street, onto Brownlow Hill, you can see that buses are queing up in the back ground on Royal Mail Street.

Here you can see a mass of people queing to board Halton Transport AE59AWG (12) at the temporary stop on Brownlow Hill ready to start route 14 - Widnes.

Here Stagecoach Mereseyside KLZ2316 (17283) Hasnt even got onto Brownlow Hill, But is letting passengers on, ready to start route 86C - Hope Campus
Here, Buses as far as the eye can see, this was becuase buses couldnt get to Renshaw Street/Lime Street, so had to que up here on Royal Mail Street And Hawke Street.

Seen here boarding is MX09LXY (2952) ready for route X1 - Runcorn

This was the picture of the bus ride home.. on the route 1 - Chester, Rather packed i must say...
